曹家勇，男，工学博士（华中科技大学），副教授，硕士生导师，IEEE会员，主要研究方向为磁力机械与磁力传动、新型驱动与运动控制、复杂机电系统设计与控制等。主持或参与国家自然基金面上项目5项，主持完成中国博士后基金1项，参与863重大专项、企业重大项目等多项科研工作。近年发表论文20余篇，被SCI/EI收录十余篇，申请了中国专利和美国专利6项（其中4项已经获得专利权）。开设的主要课程：机械设计、机械原理、互换性与测量技术、智能检测技术等。

Jiayong Cao received the B.S. and M.S. degree from Fuzhou University, Fuzhou, China, in 1995 and 1998 respectively, the Ph.D degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2003.

Since 2015, he was an associate professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering of Shanghai Institute of Technology (SIT), Shanghai, China. Before joining SIT, he was an associate professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. From 2013 to 2014, he was also a visiting scholar in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. His main research interests are in the areas of magnetic machinery, motion control and mechatronics. He has chaired or participated in 5 projects of the National Natural Resources Fund and completed 1 project of the China Postdoctoral Fund. He has published more than 20 papers in journals. More than 10 papers have been included in SCI/EI. Six patents have been applied for in China and the United States (four of which have been granted patent rights). His main courses include Mechanical Design, Mechanical Principle, Interchangeability and Measurement Technology, Intelligent Detection Technology.
