I、Educational Objectives
Material Forming and Control Major cultivates application and technology talented engineer, who are growing with moral, intellectual and physical development, and adapt to the requirements of modern manufacturing industry for economic construction; who posses the expertise knowledge of molding technology and have the ability to design and manufacture modern mold; who can engage in the work of mold design and manufacturing, research and development, applied research and production and operation management and other technology-based engineering filed.
II、Training requirements
1. high political quality, good spirits in respecting work and innovation.
2. Mastering the material forming methods, process characteristics, process parameter selection; mastering material forming equipment, structure and characteristics of various mold; mastering theories and knowledge of mold design principles and methods, mold manufacturing process, mold CNC machining and special processing methods; understanding related knowledge of mold production organization, operation and management.
3. With the good ability to
1) expertise in metal forming , plastic molding process and mold design and manufacturing;
2) read English document smoothly;
3) use computer to design and manufacture mold;
4) search papers and documents and writing skills.
