This Sino-US project for Numerical Control Technology is cooperation with Central Michigan University (CMU). The education system trains with a solid foundation in English, and breaches the boundaries due to the traditional frame of specialties, and it embodies the crossover features of the courses in the developments of modern science and technology. 

   The first two years study is at Shanghai Institute of Technology(SIT), and the credits(62 points) got at SIT are admitted by CMU. With outstanding results and meet the CMU entry requirements, students can apply for later two years study to go to CMU to study the other 62 credits to complete the undergraduate degree.

   The professional-related courses are agreed by SIT and CMU, SIT will hire foreign teachers to teach some professional courses. Those who completed a four-year program at SIT and meet the degree requirements of SIT will receive undergraduate diploma issued by SIT and BS degree certificates.

Those who go to CMU, and meet the requirements of CMU will receive BS degree certificates issued by CMU.
