Mechanical Engineering and Automation has 3 programs: Mechanical Manufacturing Process and Equipment, Numerical Control Technology and Application, Machinery and Electronics Engineering, and 1 Sino-foreign cooperation projects (Numerical Control Technology) with Central Michigan University (CMU). The education system breaches the boundaries due to the traditional frame of specialties, and it embodies the crossover features of the courses in the developments of modern science and technology. We attach more importance to practical engineering, with the courses such as Design, Manufacturing, Controlling, Management of engineering and so on. There currently have a high academic standards teaching and researching foundation, such as experienced teachers, a modern manufacturing center, and some specialized laboratories.
