Since cooperating with CMU,    seventeen SIT students from the joint-program have come to CMU to complete their BS degree or for their graduate education. Nine of them are undergraduate engineering students at CMU. Another four graduated from CMU with a Master degree and are currently working on their PhD degree at other US universities. One student graduated from CMU and is currently employed by a Michigan company as an engineer. The remaining three students returned to Shanghai after completing their MS degrees at CMU. They all did well while at CMU. All PhD students have financial support, a good indicator that they are doing well since financial supports have been very competitive for many years. Their professors and departments have recognized their good performance and are happy with their work.
