Zhang Suohuai, Male, Han nationality, was born in June 1962, who is doctor of engineering, professor, Vice President of Shanghai Institute of Technology, is mainly engaged in Dynamics of Mechanical System, Reliability Analysis of Mechanical System, Digital Design and Manufacturing, CAE Technology and other research work.

1980.9~1984.7, Bachelor's degree in mechanical manufacturing process and equipment was obtained in Northwest Institute of Technology(Shaanxi University of Science and Technology). 1984.7~1987.4, master of engineering was obtained in Northwest Institute of Technology. 1997.3~2000.12, ph. D. in engineering was obtained in Xi'an Jiaotong University. 2001.3~2003.12, engaged in research in postdoctoral mobile station of Northwestern Polytechnical University.

1987.4~2003.12, he taught at the Shaanxi University of Science and Technology and was appointed a professor in 2001. He was the dean of the Mechanical Engineering school, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology. 2004.1~2013.6, he was the dean of the Mechanical Engineering of Shanghai Institute of Technology. From 2013.7 to the present, he is vice president of Shanghai Institute of Technology. He has taught such courses as Mechanical Manufacturing Technology, Principles of Jig and Tool Design, Fundamentals of Mechanical Manufacturing, CAE Technology of Mechanical Systems, Dynamics of Mechanical System, Virtual Prototype Technology, etc., and engaged in the graduation design, curriculum design, graduation practice, production practice and other practical courses.

He was the Member of the Teaching Committee of Mechanical Design Manufacture and Automation of the Third China Machinery Industry Education Association, the Member of the Teaching Steering Committee of Shanghai Machinery Design Manufacture and Automation Specialty, the Member of the Fifth Mechanical Engineering of the Shanghai Academic Degree Committee, the Director of the 13^th Executive Council of Shanghai Mechanical Association. He completed the National Natural Science Fund projects, 12 provincial and ministerial-level projects, completed 27 projects entrusted by enterprises. He has published more than 140 academic papers and obtained 2 patents for invention and 15 patents for utility model. He won Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Second Prize 1, provincial and ministerial science and Technology Progress Third Prize 3, won Shanghai Teaching Achievement Third Prize 1, published teaching materials 4.
